Where I Want To Be Today...

Joining Stella McCartney at her country estate for tea...

We'd go for a stroll...

Breathe in the fresh air...

Have the kids grab their wellies...

And frolic in the uninterrupted scenery...

We'd make plans for our families to travel to Africa together next spring...

And swear to be besties for life...

Thank you Stella... it was quite a perfect day... ;-)

A Classic Flower...

The hydrangea.  I have hundreds {if not a few thousand?} growing in my yard right now...

Every summer I get giddy for big, billowy blooms to fill up my garden and then indoors... so easy to arrange and so pretty... the perfect accessory to a room... classic, edgy or otherwise...

Lakeside Villa in Switzerland...

The interiors of this grand chateau are a bit fussy for my taste but the exterior lawn/garden/views are beyond perfection...

Decorating The Farm...

"At a farm outside Pittsburgh, iron chairs wear mink coats, candelabras sprout from picnic tables and crystals hang from the trees." -- NY Times.  I could live here in a heartbeat...

Off To The Market I Go...

Me & my Janus Et Cie wagon.  I can picture the scene... plop one of my kids in on a cool summer morn' and head to the Farmer's Market to get my daily loot...

It's a vision (truly, as my day will never start off that way as much as I would love it to).  And you can customize (see below photo).  Use it for all SORTS of chores... gardening, hauling wood...or, fill it up "Barefoot Contessa" style with yummy eats for a picnic in the park...
