Fun little discovery {from my One Kings Lane email this morning... did you catch it too?}... Noir.  Their philosophy... "to manufacture furniture as natural as possible, affordable to the broad public, which can last longer than a generation, or maybe two.  In our opinion, this is a green way of building and living"... sounds and looks great to me!  Sooooo many goodies to be eyed...

Off To The Market I Go...

Me & my Janus Et Cie wagon.  I can picture the scene... plop one of my kids in on a cool summer morn' and head to the Farmer's Market to get my daily loot...

It's a vision (truly, as my day will never start off that way as much as I would love it to).  And you can customize (see below photo).  Use it for all SORTS of chores... gardening, hauling wood...or, fill it up "Barefoot Contessa" style with yummy eats for a picnic in the park...
